Our Business

Mechanical Simulation Solutions strives to provide an efficient and affordable format for consulting services and numerical modeling.

We are steadfast believers in simplifying models and analysis to improve solution realization. This reduces the chance for error when used judiciously, and makes analysis more accessible, useful, and most of all, cost effective. As a result, the analysis can become integral to the design process.

Model complexity is best added in over time. We can, of course, provide more in-depth modeling, as necessary.

Our location conveniently serves the Tri-State region including New York City.

We are proud supporters and users of SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, COSMOSM, and Autodesk Simulation CFD (formerly CFDesign).

Our company is owned and operated by Dr. Joe Borowiec. 

He has generated well over 1000 computer models in his 23 year tenure as a mechanical engineering analyst in industry. His career has spanned AT&T Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, and Alcatel-Lucent.

His track record and contributions to the business earned him the appointments below at Lucent Technologies:

• Consulting Member of Technical Staff in 2000
• Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in 1997

As a complement to his experience in practice, he is now an Industry Professor at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
